Thanksgiving 2012
Thanksgiving Adventure 2012 Dave won a four nights, five days stay at a cabin on the Keweenaw Peninsula at Steak Night at his work. The only challenge was that it had to be used by March 2013. Since it is hard to find four days in a row off from work and it will still be snowy in March we decided that Thanksgiving would be the perfect time to go. The cabin had one bedroom, a large loft, a living room and kitchen with one bath. The ideal accommodations for 6 adults and 2 kids! Oh, yeah Jean Luc came along also! So the entire family headed off to the U.P. Upon arriving from our 6 hour drive we decided that it was going to be a tight fit but thought it might add to the fun! Since we arrived in the dark we were excited to find that we were right on the lake when we awoke the first morning.
